Why measure AirFlow parameters?
If it isn't measured, it isn't verified.
HVAC equipment is installed, and technicians leave the building—the job is done. However, the systems may still suffer from inefficiencies and cause discomfort. The homeowner complains that the space is not cool or warm enough. The system is inefficient, and utility bills remain high despite the investment. Air Drafts and air infiltration can cause energy loss and discomfort. Other factors can affect the proper performance of an HVAC system, including duct leaks, air leaks, building-envelope infiltration, drafts, and poorly designed, undersized, or oversized equipment. The good news is that most of these issues can be corrected, but they must first be properly diagnosed.
